Team PHL notches silver in men's water polo

The Philippine men's water polo team clinched the silver medal after beating Malaysia, 14-11, at the Southeast Asian Games on Sunday at the New Clark City Aquatics Center.

The Filipinos survived a late rally by the Malaysians after holding a 10-6 lead entering the fourth period.

Meanwhile, the women's team also received a bronze medal, finishing behind gold medalist Thailand and silver medalist Singapore.
