PHL secures bronze in women's beach volleyball

The Philippines secured the bronze medal in women's beach volleyball with a sweep of Singapore at the Southeast Asian Games Games on Friday at the Subic Tennis Court.

Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons dispatched Serene Ng and Ee Shan Lau in the first match, 21-17, 21-13.

Dzi Gervacio and Dij Rodriguez followed it up with a 21-18, 21-16 victory against Eliza Chong and Gladys Lee.

Thailand bagged the gold medal and Indonesia took the silver.
