Mariya Takahashi wins 3rd gold for PHL in judo

Mariya Takahashi won judo's third gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games on Friday at the LausGroup Event Center in Pampanga.

The Filipino-Japanese judoka scored an ippon against Thailand's Surattana Thongsri in the women's 70kg, following Kiyomi Watanabe's gold in the women's 63kg on Thursday.

Shugen Nakano also won the gold in the men's 66kg event.
