Swimming adds 1 silver, 2 bronzes to PHL medal haul
Filipino tankers snagged a silver and two bronze medals at the Southeast Asian Games on Friday at the New Clark City Aquatics Center.
Luke Gebbie, Maurice Ilustre, Jean Khouzam, and Jarod Hatch teamed up in the men's 4X100m freestyle relay to claim the silver, clocking in at 3:22.32.
They finished five seconds behind the Singaporean squad led by Olympic gold medalist Joseph Schooling.
The Vietnamese quartet took the bronze, finishing just a hair behind the Filipinos with a time of 3:22.45.
Meanwhile, Remedy Rule bagged the bronze in the women's 200m freestyle. Chloe Isleta later matched the feat in the women's 200m backstroke.
