Filipino taekwondo jins Dustin Mella, Rico Mella, and Rodolfo Reyes, Jr. captured a gold medal in the men's team poomsae in the Southeast Asian Games on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The Mella brothers and Reyes scored 8.483 points in the event.

Earlier, Dustin Mella and Rinna Babanto won silver in the poomsae mixed pairs with a score of 8.233. The pair bested the Thailand delegates who scored 8.033 for the bronze. Gold medalists Malaysia ended their routine with a score of 8.283.

In the women's team poomsae category, Rinna Babanto, Aidaine Laxa, and Jocel Ninobla also won silver with a score of 7.999 points. Gold medalists Thailand registered 8.399 points while Vietnam made 7.866 points.
