Taekwondo jins haul 4 golds, 4 silvers in poomsae


Jeordan Dominguez clinched the Philippine taekwondo team's fourth gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Dominguez topped the freestyle men's individual poomsae event with a score of 7.433 points. Vietnam's representative ended up in second place, while the Indonesian delegate landed at third.

Janna Oliva capped the day with a silver in the women's division, the team's fourth silver medal. She garnered 6.766 points to finish behind Vietnam, while Thailand ended up at third.

Earlier, Oliva, Juvenile Faye Crisostomo, Marvin Mori, Patrick King Perez, and Darius Venerable captured their own silver medal in the freestyle mixed team, registering 6.866 points. Vietnam took the gold while teams from Indonesia and Thailand finished the tournament at third.
