Two more bronze medals for PHL as judo events come to a close

The Philippines added two more bronze medals to its haul as the judo events of the Southeast Asian Games wrap up on Saturday at the LausGroup Event Center in Pampanga.

The men's team of Bryan Quillotes, Daryl John Mercado, Jackielou Escarpe, Dave Carl Aseneta, and Shin Matsumura won four singles against Laos in the bronze medal match.

Meanwhile, the women's team of Jeanalene Lopez, Khrizzie Pabulayan, Megumi Delgado, Mariya Takahashi, and Ryoko Salinas defeated Malaysia in three singles matches.
