PHL team rows its way to bronze in traditional boat race

The Philippine team added another bronze medal to its Southeast Asian Games medal collection on the first day of the traditional boat race Saturday.

The national team finished third in the 22-seaters 200m mixed event, clocking in 41.527 seconds.

Gold medalists Thailand finished the race with 39.792 seconds while silver medalists Indonesia registered a time of 40.592 seconds.

Events for the traditional boat race will continue on Sunday.
