PHL team cops 6 medals in waterski, wakeboarding

Susan Larsson and Jhondi Wallace bagged gold medals for the Philippines in waterski and wakeboarding at the Southeast Asian Games on Sunday at the Deca Wakeboard Park in Pampanga.

Larsson reigned supreme in the women's waterskate event, topping silver medalist Thip Penpayap of Thailand and third placer Alysha Mohamad of Singapore.

In the men's division, Wallace copped gold and while fellow Filipino Christian Joson claimed the bronze.

Samantha Bermudez and Raphael Trinidad added silver medals in the women's and men's wakeboard events, respectively. Ralph Villaro also claimed bronze in the men's wakeboard.
