Muay adds 2 more golds to PHL medal tally
The Philippine muay thai team added two more golds to the Philippines' medal haul at the Southeast Asian Games on Sunday at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.
Ariel Lee Lampacan captured the gold after edging out Thailand's Chamchit Sakchai in the men's 54kg final, 29-28.
Philip Delarmino nabbed the second gold after scoring 29 points to beat Vietnam's Nguyen Doan Long in the men's 57kg final.
Earlier, Jenelyn Olsim finished and Erika Bomogao finished with silver medals in the women's 54kg and 45kg categories, respectively.
In the men's division, Ryan Jakiri bagged a silver in the men's 63.5 kg event, while Kim Robert Miranda settled for bronze in the muay 45 kg event. Alexis Mayag-as also added another bronze in the men's muay 48-kg event.
