Kristina Knott settles for silver in women's 100m dash


Kristina Knott bagged her second medal at the Southeast Asian Games with a silver in the women's 100m dash on Sunday at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium.

The Filipina sprinter clocked in at 11.55 seconds, narrowly losing to Vietnam's Tu Chinh Le who crossed the tape first at 11.54 seconds. Veronica Shanti Pereira of Singapore claimed the bronze with a time of 11.66 seconds.

Knott captured her first SEA Games gold on Saturday, shattering the 200m record twice with a sensational performance of 23.07 seconds in the heats and 23.01 seconds in the final race.
