Karatedo adds 4 bronze medals to PHL haul

The Philippine karatedo team continued to add medals to the country's haul at the Southeast Asian Games on the second day of their tournaments Sunday at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Jayson Macaalay finished with a bronze medal after his opponent, Thailand's Saiyasombat Pooris, was disqualified in the men's 60kg kumite.

In the women's team kata, Nicole Dantes, Ronaldene Flores, and Rebecca Torres won over the Brunei team to bag the bronze.

Joane Orbon and Mae Soriano also bagged bronze medals in the women's 61kg and 58kg.
