Muay Thai champ sets new record with six-second KO at ONE Championship

Three-time Muay Thai champion Capitan Petchyindee Academy needed just six seconds to win Friday night against Petchtanong Petchfergus in the co-main event of ONE: A New Breed III at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

After a quick touch of gloves to mark the start of the fight, Petchtanong threw a right hook only to receive a thunderous right straight down the pipe from Capitan.

The punch dropped him senseless on the canvas prompting the referee to halt the contest at the 0:06 mark of round one.

The highlight-reel knockout had set the fastest knockout record in Muay Thai and kickboxing history of ONE Super Series. -- BAP, GMA News
