Former Bellator lightweight world champion Michael Chandler has shaken things up in the 155-pound division following a first-round stoppage over Dan Hooker in the co-main event of UFC 257 this Sunday, at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Chandler was relentless from the get-go as he pressed forward with strikes to the body. Hooker circled the cage and tried to keep the three-time Bellator champ at bay with kicks but was ultimately caught with a left hook that dropped him.

Chandler followed up with punches to the temple prompting the referee to stop the contest at 2:30. It was a spectacular UFC debut for Chandler, improving his mixed martial arts record to 22-5 while Hooker fell to 20-10. — LA, GMA News
