Jenel Lausa to battle Afghan knockout artist in Brave CF debut

Former PXC flyweight champion Jenel Lausa is set to make his Brave Combat Federation debut against Afghan knockout artist Rahmatullah Yousufzai on the undercard of Brave CF 47 on March 11 at the National Stadium in Bahrain.

Yousufzai, the Brave CF 2020 knockout of the year awardee, holds an unblemished mixed martial arts record of 4-0. He demolished Abdulmanap Magomedov in 42 seconds in his last outing at Brave CF 41 in September 2020.

Lausa, meanwhile, has not seen action since he suffered a second-round submission loss at the hands of Yuta Sasaki at UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Edwards in June 2018.

The 32-year-old Iloilo native holds a mixed martial arts record of 7-5 and is also a pro boxer with a record of 10-0-1 with six knockouts.

Another Filipino will grace the main event as Rolandy Dy (14-9-1) takes on Abdisalam Kubanychbek in three five-minute round lightweight title eliminator.
