Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League Philippines Season 7 preview: Bren Esports remains title favorite

The seventh season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League Philippines kicks off this weekend.

Defending champion Bren Esports remains the title favorite after conquering the World Championship in January.

The team heads into the season with the same winning roster they had in Season 6: KarlTzy, Pheww, Ribo, Lusty, Flaptzy, and Ejhay.

Season 6 runner-up Omega Esports also kept its roster in tact as the team renews its campaign to take down Bren this season.

Kenji, Hadjizy, Heath, KurtTzy, yellyHaze, and Toshi return with valuable experience from the World Championship, where Omega finished 5th-6th.

Execration is another strong title contender after beefing up its roster in the offseason. Renzio, Kelra, and Kielvj will join E2MAX, Ch4knu, and Z4pnu in challenging the top 2 teams this season.

Aura PH also made some moves in the offseason, replacing Kiel and Renzio with Bennyqt and Lord Hadess. The two newcomers will reinforce Rafflesia, Greed_, Killuash, and Jaypee as they aim to do better than their quarterfinal finish last season.

Onic PH was stopped by Bren in the semifinals of Season 6, but Jay, Dlar, Iy4knu, Markyyyyy will be back with new acquisitions Hate and Kairi as the team recalibrates this season.

Blacklist International, meanwhile, could be the dark horse of the season with DEX STAR, Eson, OhMyV33NUS, Wise, EDWARD, and OHEB and their unorthodox strategies which could throw other teams off guard.

Cignal Ultra and Nexplay Esports also return with retooled rosters to improve on their quarterfinals finish last season.

Work-Auster Force and Laus Playbook Esports will get a crack at last season's playoff teams as the main qualifiers of Season 7.
