Fighter loses a finger in MMA fight
One of the most bizarre if not the most bizarre and morbid injury in mixed martial arts just happened when Khetag Pliev lost a finger in his fight against Devin Goodale in the co-main event of Cage Fury Fighting Championship 94 Thursday in Philadelphia, USA.
It was unclear how Pliev lost his ring finger as both fighters figured in grappling sequences most of the fight.

The missing finger was noticed before the start of round three, leaving his opponent Goodale just as confused as everyone in the arena.
The fight was halted and a second-round technical knockout was awarded to Goodale as a result.
Good news. I just spoke briefly to CFFC fighter Khetag Pliev. He’s in the ER now and his finger has been re-attached. More coming soon to @espnmma.

A hunt for the missing finger was announced afterward, which was found and re-attached back to Pliev in the emergency room. – RC, GMA News
