Alex Eala advances to 3rd round of Swiss tilt
Tennis ace Alex Eala continued her winning ways after defeating Romanian foe Laura-Ioana Paar in the second round of the W60 Bellinzona tournament in Switzerland, early Thursday morning (Manila time).
Eala beat Women's Tennis Association (WTA) no. 206 Laura-Ioana Paar, 6(6)-7, 6-1, 6-0 to advance to the third round of the tourney.
In the first round, the 15-year old defeated French opponent Margot Yerolymos.

Eala will face Swiss national Simona Waltert in the third round of the competition. The two previously faced off in the early rounds of the W25 Manacor and W15 Manacor tournaments.
Eala, currently WTA no. 715, won her first professional title last January.
