Hidilyn Diaz receives her Olympic gold medal

Filipina weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz won the Philippines' first-ever Olympic gold medal on Monday after winning the women's 55-kg weightlifting event in the 2020 Tokyo Games.

After her historic win, she received her gold medal on the podium.

Diaz, who is also a Sargeant in the Philippine Air Force, honored her achievement with a salute.
