Yuka Saso to see action in 2021 AIG Women's Open

Just days after Yuka Saso wrapped up her campaign at the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open in joint-15th place, the Filipino-Japanese ace will return to the grass with the hope to bag her second major LPGA title.

The 20-year-old Olympian is set to compete at the 2021 AIG Women's Open slated for August 19, Thursday,  at the Carnoustie Championship Course in Scotland.

She will be teeing off at 7:49 p.m. (Manila time) together with Brooke Henderson of Canada and Lexi Thompson of the United States.

Saso, now the world no. 8, was fresh from the Scottish Open where she fired a 4-under par 68 in the fourth and final round to garner a total of 281 through four rounds in the 72-hole course tournament.

She is also looking to duplicate her success in June 2021 when she claimed the US Women's Open and emerged as the first Filipino to complete such a feat.
