The Philippines continued its medal haul in the 2021 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Youth World Championship in Saudi Arabia after another young lifter bagged a total of three medals.

Rose Jean Ramos, 16, snared two gold medals and a silver in the women's 45 kilogram division on Wednesday.

The teen ace lifted 67 kg in snatch, besting Ruth Fuenteria of Spain who bagged the silver with 63 kg and bronze medalist Najla Khoirunnisa of Indonesia who hoisted 62 kg.

In the clean and jerk, the Zamboanga native successfully lifted 78 kg and 80 kg but failed on her third attempt at 82. Her lift at 80 kg, however, was enough to cop the silver medal.

Ramos bagged the overall gold after tallying a total of 147 kg, while Poland's Oliwia Drzazga finished with a total of 143 kg for the silver and Khoirunnisa settled for the bronze with 142 kg.

Ramos' feat was the latest addition to the country's medal collection in the tournament. Jeaneth Hipolito earlier bagged a bronze medal in the women's 40 kg class on Tuesday.
