Carlos Yulo does not plan to miss a thing when he sees action in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Although nothing has been formalized yet about his qualification to the next edition of the Olympics, the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) said it is already planning to have the 21-year-old gymnast join all six apparatus come the 33rd Summer Games.

GAP president Cynthia Carrion on Tuesday said Yulo will compete not only in his pet events floor, vault, and parallel bars—all of which he saw action in the recently-concluded 50th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships—but also in the pommel horse, horizontal bar, and rings.

"We’re going overall for the 2024 Olympics so he has to train really hard, especially for the three other apparatus because those are not his forte. Also, his shoulder is still hurting," Carrion said during the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum.

Prior to the 2024 Games, though, Yulo will be greeted with a jam-packed schedule next year.

The 4-foot-11 dynamo is expected to see action in the 2022 Asian Games in China, the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Vietnam, and the 51st FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool.

All of these major tournaments will be crucial in his preparation for the Paris Games.

The decision to join all six disciplines, however, remains fluid as of now after Carrion pointed out that everything will still depend on the three-year stretch in between now and the Olympics.

Still, the official believes Yulo has established himself as one of the standards after finishing with a gold medal in the vault and a silver in the parallel bars, and placing fifth in the floor exercise.

"This is the decision for now but as we go on with the training and see how he’s doing, we might change our minds. But so far, this is our goal—to have him compete overall," she added.

"Anyway, we still have three years to go and at least we can be training for those three years. For the floor and vault, all he has to do is to polish it."
