Mobile Legends Professional League launches 'MPL Cares' initiative

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines on Monday launched a corporate social responsibility initiative which aims to help local charities and institutions.

Through the "MPL Cares" initiative, the league will donate care packages, monetary donations, and host webinars with esports talents and welfare organizations to local communities.

"We want to improve the well-being and livelihood of local citizens, and provide the necessary assistance to help them succeed," Matt Jaron, MPL Philippines Business Development Manager, said in a statement.

"The pandemic has caused a lot of disruption to various livelihoods, and we as a league believe that it is essential to provide our society all the help they need, to become a more resilient community. We stand together with those in need, and we want to work with local charities to nurture a caring society."

MPL Philippines will also introduce new initiatives to provide long-term benefits to help those in need and will partner with charities to provide donations.

Back in October 28, MPL Philippines also partnered with ChildHope Philippines HQ and hosted a meet-and-greet with Blacklist international to bolster the aspirations of the youth.
