Onic PH fails to sustain fiery start, falls to Onic ID in MLBB M3 World Championship group stage

Onic Philippines suffered a massive comeback loss at the hands of Indonesia's Onic Esports in their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M3 World Championship debut on Tuesday.

The MLBB Professional League Philippines runners-up failed to capitalize on their gold lead from the early to mid game and committed critical errors in a 20th minute lord fight that led to sudden reverse.

It looked like an upset hammer was on the way during the early goings of the match after Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol (Lancelot) scored a triple kill in the 6th minute to help establish a 3k gold lead.

Jaylord “Hatred” Gonzales (Aamon) then followed suit with his own triple kill in the 9th minute to complete a 5-2 wipe out plus a lord take for the Filipino representatives.

Onic maintained control of the match from there until disaster struck in the 20th minute that led to the Indonesian win.

Kairi finished with a 5-2-5 KDA in the loss while Hatred compiled a 7-4-1 KDA.
