Onic PH hopes to meet—and defeat—BTK in upper bracket finals. Baloyskie explains why

SINGAPORE — Onic Philippines is now through to the upper bracket finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M3 World Championship here after a sweep of the RRQ Hoshi in their semis showdown.

And between their next potential opponents, Evos SG and BloodThirstyKings (BTK), the Filipinos would prefer going up against the latter.

Team captain Allen Jedric "Baloyskie" Baloy said that facing—and defeating—BTK would be sweeter since they could get a chance to avenge their compatriot Blacklist International, who fell to the same team in the first round of their upper bracket playoff meeting.

"I want to face BTK so we can avenge our fellow countrymen," Balosykie said in the post-game interview. "And for them to have a chance to face again BTK and hopefully, they win that time."

BTK will face EVOS SG on Thursday with the loser dropping to lower bracket, where they can possibly face Blacklist again in the finals.

Both Onic PH and Blacklist are seeking to take the trophy back home to the Philippines and replicate the success of Bren Esports, who ruled M2 earlier this year.
