Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno continued with his hot streak as he led Echo to a dominant 2-0 conquest of defending champions Blacklist International to stay undefeated in the  Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 on Sunday.

The former M2 World Championship MVP compiled a total of 17-1-12 KDA in two games to keep the Tier-One backed Blacklist winless at 0-4. Echo has now compiled 11pts to stay on top of the standings, ahead of RSG Philippines (9pts) and TNC Pro Team (7pts).

In Game 1,  Blacklist played with urgency, taking a 7-2 kill spread at the 7th minute that they extended into a 10-4 lead at the 10th minute.

But KarlTzy's (Lancelot) triple kill in the 15th minute spearheaded a decisive 4-0 wipe that turned the game around for the undefeated contenders, 1-0.

KarlTzy (Lancelot) did not let up in Game 2 as he flexed his might early on to take a 3-0-2 KDA as early as the 5th minute followed by a triple kill in the 6th minute, helping Echo take a 9-4 kill spread.

The Johnson-Kadita combo of Jankurt Russel “Kurtzy” Matira and Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera then provided an excellent set-up in the 8th minute leading to a 5-0 wipeout as Echo took a commanding 14-4 kill lead with a 10k gold lead.

Another beautiful set-up by Kurtzy (Johnson) in the 14th minute, helped Echo score another 5-0 wipeout to complete the sweep, 2-0.

It was Blacklist's 2nd loss via sweep to stay at 6th place with only 2pts to show.
