RSG Philippines avenged their 2-0 loss to TNC Pro Team earlier in the season after orchestrating a sweep on Friday in Week 7 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9.

The team now has 24 points for solo second in the standings, just one point behind Echo (25 points) which they will play on Saturday. TNC, meanwhile, is on third place with 21 points.

RSG dominated Game 1 behind Eman "EMANN" Sangco's Beatrix, who finished with a 4-0-1 KDA.

The squad took a 5-0 kill lead in the first seven minutes and never looked back as they steadily secured objectives and pickoffs. They finished the game in just under 14 minutes after two lord takes with a total kill spread of 10-3.

It was a similar story in Game 2 as RSG leapt to an 8-1 kill lead in the first six minutes and cruised to the win in 12 minutes with a final kill spread of 14-3.

Emann (Clint) and Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto (Karina) finished with similar KDAs of 5-0-2 and 5-0-3.

Later in the evening, Onic Philippines survived Omega Esports with a 2-1 reverse sweep.

Omega looked like it would clinch the decider after taking down all but one of Onic's turrets 20 minutes into the game, with their own base turrets still intact.

The M3 runner-up, however, executed a brilliant turnaround after securing the lord and wiping out Omega in the final push.

With the win, Onic PH now has 17 points for fifth place, while Omega remains at seventh with 10 points.
