RSG emerges as top seed after regular season

RSG Philippines secured the top spot in the playoffs of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 following a 2-0 sweep of Onic Philippines on Saturday.

RSG finished the regular season with 31 points and an 11-3 win-loss card. TNC Pro Team and Echo will dispute the last spot in the upper bracket on Sunday's double header.

Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol quickly flexed his might in the early game, displaying his prowess on the Fanny jungler pick with a 5th minute 4-1-2 KDA.

Despite Eman "Emann" Sangco (Beatrix) scoring a shutdown on Kairi in the 6th minute, Onic was still pretty much was in control until the prolific RSG goldlaner scored a clutch lord steal in the 16th minute that swung the momentum towards his team.

RSG then scored a pivotal 3-1 wipe in the 20th minute to help secure the luminous lord and complete the turnaround.

It looked like a rubber match was on the way when Onic took a quick 3-0 kill lead in the 3rd minute that they converted into a 9th minute lord off a 3-1 wipe.

But RSG took them by storm in a lengthy 15th minute clash that saw them score a 5-1 wipeout, promptly scoring the sweep.
