The 23-year-old Filipinas outperformed eight other contenders, finishing with a score of 9.71 to bag the gold a day after settling for a silver medal in the taolu taijiquan event.
Taolu taijijian was the same event that Wong ruled in the 2019 edition in Manila, where the Philippines copped the overall championship.
Behind Wong, home bets Thi Minh Huyen Tran and Thi Kieu Trang Tran of Vietnam finished second and third with final tally of 9.70 and 9.69, respectively.
