Wrestlers add four more SEA Games medals, swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi, sepak takraw claim bronzes


The Philippine wrestling team added four more medals to the country's 31st Southeast Asian Games medal haul on Thursday in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Silver medals were won by wrestlers Alvin Lobreguito (men's -57kg freestyle), Jhonny Morte (men's -65kg freestyle), and Ronil Tubig (men's -74kg freestyle).

 

 

 

 

Jason Balabal also had another medal from Hanoi as he won a bronze in the men's 97 kg freestyle.

 

 

In aquatics, Jasmine Alkhaldi took the bronze in the women's 100m event.

 

 

Meanwhile, the men's sepak takraw team of Jason Huerte, Rheyjey Ortouste and Mark Joseph Gonzales claimed a bronze in the men's doubles event.

 

 

According to the SEAG website, the Philippines has 40 golds, 57 silvers, and 78 bronze medals as of writing.
