Alex Eala exits from W25 Palma del Rio singles, doubles

Alex Eala bowed out of the singles and doubles tournaments in the W25 ITF tournament held in Palma del Rio, Spain on Thursday (Spain time).

Eala and her Spanish partner Marina Bassols Ribera failed to advance to the finals after falling to Russian Valeria Savinykh and Hungary's Fanni Stollar, 6-2, 6-0, in the semifinals of the doubles tournament.

In the singles tournament, Eala lost to French opponent Jessika Ponchet, 6-2, 6-1 in the second round.

Prior to the W25 event in Palma del Rio, Eala finished second in the W60 tournament in Madrid.
