V33Wise returns, RSG-OMG renews rivalry in much-anticipated MPL S10 double-header opener

Defending Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines and MLBB Southeast Asian Cup (MSC) champions RSG Philippines will once again duke it out with Season 9 runners-up Omega Esports to kick off their respective Season 10 campaigns at 6 p.m on August 12.

Meanwhile, Blacklist International star duo Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna and Danerie James  "Wise" Del Rosario will make their return to the MPL with a match against fan-favorite Nexplay Evos at the 8pm slate.

The duo, part of the team who won the M3 World Championship in December 2021, skipped MPL Season 9 to focus on their Southeast Asian Games 2022 campaign where they successfully defended Philippines' gold medal.

The tournament regular season will run for eight weeks on Fridays to Sundays, with the top six finishers qualifying for the playoffs. The champion and runner-up will then represent the Philippines in the M4 World Championship.
