MPL Philippines Season 10 to be held offline starting with regular season

After two years of online play, the regular season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines will be held offline with the Season 10 opener set to unfurl on August 12.

The organizers announced the development on Wednesday in a statement, saying fans who wish to watch the games live can head to the venue, register, and submit a negative antigen test result taken within the day. They can purchase test kits in the venue for P150.

All games will be held at the ICite Bldg. Auditorium in Mercury Avenue, Bagumbayan, Quezon City.

Vaccination cards or proof of COVID-19 certification is also required. On Fridays and Sundays, a total of 90 fans can watch the tournaments on-ground. On Saturdays, meanwhile, 70 persons per day can be accommodated.

For the much-anticipated opening day, defending MPL titleholder RSG will face Omega Esports at 6 p.m. while capping off the twinbill is the duel between Blacklist International and Nexplay Evos at 8 p.m.
