MPL Malaysia: Hate helps Team SMG take 2-0 win in Week 5

Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales sprung back to action in Week 5, helping Team SMG take a much-need 2-0 sweep over Suhaz Esports  in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia Season 10.

He sat out their Week 4 series against Todak where Team SMG took a 2-0 walloping of the defending champions.

Hate provided a solid contribution in the series, taking a 1-1-4 KDA on Julian in a dominant Game 1 win before getting subbed out in Game 2.

With the win, Team SMG remained within striking distance to the top two spots for the upper bracket in the playoffs after compiling 14 points after eight matches.

They trail Team HAQ (16 points) and Group A leaders Todak (17 points).
