Hate's Team SMG winless in Week 6

Team SMG and Jaylord "Hate" Gonzales failed to follow-up on their Week 5 victory as they absorbed two series losses in Week 6 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia Season 10.

They fought a close three-game thriller against Red Esports but failed to manage the map late in Game 3 and conceded the series via a sneaky split push that totally caught them off guard.

Hate for his part, tried to carry his team in the opener, taking a perfect 3-0-3 KDA with the Cecillon pick but Team SMG suffered from a meltdown during the final team fight that led to a wipeout.

In Game 2, Hate displayed his prowess with the assassin meta as he picked a midlane Julian and finished with a 3-1-4 KDA in the dominant win.

The only Filipino import in Malaysia, though, sat out their Sunday series against Team Caracal where the team suffered a 2-0 sweep.

Team SMG fell to a 5-5 win-loss card but is still assured of a spot in the playoffs with two weeks left in the regular season.
