Echo secures upper bracket ticket with sweep of NXPE

Echo became the first team in the upper bracket of the playoffs after they scored a 2-0 sweep of Nexplay Evos in the final week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 on Sunday.

It was their 10th season win to reach 27pts total. RSG Philippines, which has two remaining matches, has a maximum of 22pts granted they sweep their final two matches.

Echo completely shut down everyone on the NXPE side in Game 1 with no kills registered except for Ken Louie “Kzen” Pile (Karina) who had four en route to an easy 14-minute win.

Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales (Bruno) led Echo's rampage as he scored a triple kill in the dying moments to finish with an 8-2-4 KDA.

16-year old prodigy Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya decided to steal the show in the early goings of Game 2, taking a 4-1-0 KDA by the 5th minute to lead Echo's 6-2 kill lead and establish a 3k net worth lead.

Echo closed out the series with a 5-0 shutout in the 14th minute, thereby securing their upper bracket slot.

Sanford finished with a 5-1-3 KDA in the closeout win.
