Jhanlo Sangiao submits Lauron, Olsim knocked out by Bo

Bantamweight prospect Jhanlo Sangiao of Team Lakay impressed in his second appearance in ONE Championship following a first-round rear-naked choke submission of Anacleto Lauron at ONE 164 this Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Lauron came out of his corner with a flying knee which allowed Sangiao to take the fight to the mat and unleash vicious ground and pound. Sangiao then wrapped his arms around Lauron's neck, forcing a tap at the 1:48 mark of round one.

The win improved the young prospect's record to 5-0.

Earlier in the night, China's Meng Bo only needed 24 seconds to score a knockout over Jenelyn Olsim. A perfectly timed right hand dropped the Team Lakay defenseless on the mat which prompted the referee to halt the contest.
