Two-time ML:BB world champion KarlTzy still looking to win more titles

JAKARTA — Pulling off a sweep victory over Blacklist International to rule the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship was historic not just for Echo.

Hoisting the M4 crown also meant that Echo jungler Karl Gabriel "KarlTzy" Nepmuceno would become the player with the most world titles in the history of ML:BB.

"Sobrang sarap lang talaga sa pakiramadam. Sobrang saya ko ngayon, 'di ko ma-explain 'yung feeling," KarlTzy told GMA Integrated News.

"Mararamdaman niyo lang 'to 'pag nag-champion kayo tapos ang sarap lang din sa pakiramdam na manalo sa Blacklist."

("It feels so good. I'm so happy, I can't explain the feeling... You'd only feel this if you become champions and it also feels good to win over Blacklist.)

KarlTzy steered Bren Esports to the world championship during their M2 title run, which also saw him claim the Finals MVP plum as they defeated Burmese Ghouls in the Grand Finals.

He has since transferred to Echo and joined forces with the likes of Tristan "YAWI" Cabrera and Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales.

And as he claimed his second world title, the 18-year-old star said he'd like to take a break first before returning to the scene and win more titles with the Orcas.

"Syempre MPL pa rin. Gusto ko pa maglaro pero gusto ko muna magpahinga muna."

("Of course, the MPL. I still want to play but I want to take a rest first.")
