TNC upsets Echo, but bows out of contention; Blacklist exacts revenge on RSG

TNC Pro Team slayed another giant in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 but eventually bowed out of playoffs contention after mixed results on Week 7 of the regular season at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati.

The Phoenix recently pulled off a 2-1 victory against M2 world champion Bren Esports, and they repeated the same feat when they eked out a 2-0 sweep of reigning world champions Echo last Friday, March 31.

But TNC could not sustain the momentum, absorbing a 2-0 loss to Onic Philippines to formally bid their playoff hopes goodbye. TNC, which currently has 3-10 win-loss card, will now hope to end its campaign on a high note when it takes on Smart Omega on April 15.

Meanwhile, defending MPL champion Blacklist International showed it already learned its lessons, exacting revenge on its first round tormentor RSG Slate Philippines with a clean 2-0 triumph on April 2.

The Codebreakers improved their slate to 8-4 while RSG dropped to 6-6 with only a week left in the group stage.
