Karate's Sakura Alforte delivers fifth Cambodia SEA Games gold for the Philippines
Sakura Alforte copped the Philippines' fifth gold medal in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games on Saturday in Cambodia.
Alforte dethroned Vietnam's Nguyen Thi Phuong in the karate women's individual kata event to bring home the gold.

Alforte follows jiu jitsu's Kaila Napolis, kun bokator's Angel Derla, and obstacle course racing's Mark Julius Rodelas and Precious Cabuya in the list of the country's gold medalists in this edition of the biennial meet.
Meanwhile, Enrico Vasquez claimed a bronze medal in the men's individual kata.
