Echo dethrones Blacklist in familiar sweep to rule MPL PH Season 11

Echo Philippines dethroned Blacklist International as the Orcas reigned supreme in the MPL Philippines Season 11 championship round with a familiar 4-0 sweep on Sunday at the SMX Convention Center.

This is the second straight finals win for Echo where it swept Blacklist as it also pulled the same feat when they met in the title duel of M4 world championship last January.

Echo ended the regular season as the second seed, but fell to RSG Slate Philippines in the upper bracket semifinals to drop to the lower bracket. They then had to oust top seed and SEA Games representative Bren Esports to keep their playoff  hopes alive.

In the Orcas' rematch against RSG in the lower bracket finals, Echo made sure not to repeat the same mistake as they took down the Raiders to move on to the grand finals.

Echo will represent the Philippines in the upcoming MSC 2023 in June in Cambodia alongside Blacklist.
