Jhanlo Sangiao returns to action in August against hard-hitting Mongolian

Mixed martial arts bantamweight prospect Jhanlo Sangiao is set to figure in his first acid test against Mongolia's Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu on the undercard of ONE Fight Night 13 on August 5 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sangiao, who holds a perfect professional MMA record of 6-0, has won all of his three fights under the ONE Championship banner via first-round submission. His last two outings were so impressive they got him a $50,000 performance bonus each.

"I've been training tirelessly, preparing every aspect of my game for this moment. The excitement coursing through my veins is indescribable. I am fueled by the support of my family, teammates, and fans," Sangiao said.

But the 34-year-old Baatarkhuu would not be a walk in the park. Holding a record of 9-2, he won a six-figure contract to ONE Championship last year before dominating Sangiao's teammate Adonis Sevilleno over three rounds this past April.

Less than a month after his debut on the big stage, Baatarkhuu fought Rockie Bactol and scored a technical knockout in the very first round. According to Sangiao, his upcoming fight is a chance to prove that he is one of the best fighters in the organization.

"I'm ready to step into that ring and showcase my skills. This is my chance to leave a lasting impression and prove that I belong among the best," Sangiao said.
