Jenelyn Olsim leaves Team Lakay, joins Folayang's Lions Nation MMA

Another prizefighter has left Team Lakay as ONE Championship women's atomweight fighter Jenelyn Olsim has joined Eduard Folayang's Lions Nation MMA.

Olsim, 6-4 as a professional mixed martial artist, is the latest in the waves of fighters to depart Team Lakay which includes Jeremy Pacatiw and Edward Kelly, who also announced their exit from the stable last month to join their former world champion teammates Joshua Pacio, Kevin Belingon, and Honorio Banario at Lions Nation.

"I am absolutely thrilled and honored to represent Lions Nation MMA in ONE Championship," said Olsim. "It's also a wonderful opportunity to work alongside my seniors again, as their guidance and support have always been invaluable to me."

The 26-year-old Olsim, who recently opened her training facility Olsim-Dasdas Martial Arts Gym in Benguet, last saw action against Meng Bo this past December where she lost via first-round knockout.

Reinvigorated and laser-focused on getting back to her winning ways, Olsim is hoping to get back inside the cage as soon as possible and even has an opponent in mind.

"I feel more motivated and determined than ever to showcase my skills and prove myself once again. I hope my next fight will be against Jihin [Radzuan]," Olsim stated.

"We’re supposed to face each other before, and I wish it could happen later this year."
