Carlos Yulo finishes fourth in Worlds floor exercise final

Filipino Olympian and gymnast Carlos Yulo fell short in his medal bid in the men's floor exercise final of the 2023 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships on Saturday in Antwerp, Belgium.

Yulo scored 14.500 to finish fourth behind Israel's Artem Dolgopyat (14.866), Japan's Kazuki Minami (14.666), and Kazakhstan's Milad Karimi (14.600).

The Filipino gymnast previously missed the all-around finals in the World Championships.

Yulo, however, has already booked his ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics as he became the highest-ranked eligible athlete in the floor event qualifiers.
