Alex Eala promises to 'bounce back stronger' after Miami Open exit

Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala promised to bounce back after her exit from the Miami Open last Tuesday.

Eala fell to Colombian Emiliana Arango, 2-6, 7-5, 6-1, in the qualifiers for the main draw. Prior to this, the Filipina ace won against Sara Errani of Italy, 6-3, 6-1.

"I am disheartened to say the least, that I had to finish the match being wheeled off the court," Eala wrote on her post as she referred to her cramps.

"Nevertheless, I take pride in the fact that I fought until the end. I leave here on a positive note and will be back at 100% in a few days. I definitely still have so much more to give and will be back stronger and more experienced," she added.

Eala is currently ranked no. 171 by the Women's Tennis Association.
