Alex Eala and French partner Estelle Cascino ruled the doubles tournament of the W75 Croissy-Beaubourg tournament in France.

Eala and Cascino claimed the title after defeating the top-seeded pair of France's Jessika Ponchet and United Kingdom's Maia Lumsden, 7-5, 7-6(4) in the finals on Saturday.

Prior to this, the pair defeated Kira Pavlova and Luxembourg's Marie Weckerle, 6-3, 6-3, in the semis, and the duo of British Emily Appleton and Netherlands' Isabelle Haverlag, 6-4, 6-0, in the quarters. In the first round, Eala and Cascino eked out a 5-7, 6-2, 10-6 win against Celine Naef of Switzerland and Prarthana Thombare of India.

In the singles tournament, Eala suffered an early exit as she fell to Mona Barthel of Germany, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the second round of the main draw.

This is Eala's second doubles title this year after winning the W50 tournament in India early this year.
