MPL Philippines: Team Liquid Echo dethrones Falcons AP.Bren in stunning sweep

Team Liquid Echo is back on top.

Echo redeemed the crown after dethroning Falcons AP.Bren in a dominant fashion, 4-0, to reign supreme in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 13 on Sunday at the SM Southmall.

Echo didn’t show any mercy as it captured its second title ahead of its return trip to the Mid-Season Cup this July.

Already at match point with a 3-0 series lead against the defending champions, Echo showed no signs of slowing down with a key team clash during the 18th minute mark of Game 4 deciding how the rest of the game will go about.

A pivotal triple kill from exp laner Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya on his Arlott saw Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson, Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, and David “FlapTzy” Canon down as Echo was left with only two personnel.

However, gold laner Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano (Roger) also unleashed his own triple kills for a four-man wipeout against Echo.

Alston “Sanji” Pabico (Valentina) was the last man standing in either team, allowing him to single-handedly push towards the base of Bren to finish it off.

Echo has now copped its second title in three seasons after also sweeping Blacklist International during their Season 11 finale showdown last year.
