Para taekwondo's Allain Ganapin ends Paralympics campaign in Round of 16

Para taekwondo jin Allain Ganapin concluded his campaign in the 2024 Paris Paralympics as he fell short against Azerbaijan's Abulfaz Abuzarli in the men's K44 -80kg Round of 16 on Saturday at the Grand Palais.

Abuzarli defeated Ganapin, 12-9, to eliminate the Filipino bet and advance to the quarterfinals.

Earlier, Ganapin won against Hadi Hassanzada of the Refugee Paralympic Team in the Round of 32.

This is Ganapin's first official Summer Para Games stint as he backed out three years ago due to COVID-19.
