PH bets Blacklist International, Elevate advance to HOK Invitational S3 playoffs

Playing on home soil, Blacklist International and Elevate made sure not to disappoint as they advanced to the knockout round of Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 to keep the Philippine bid very much alive.

Blacklist International, which ruled the local qualifying tournament last December, has been spotless so far after defeating both Elevate and Gen. G to take the top seed in Group A with a clean 2-0 slate.

Elevate, meanwhile, salvaged its hopes after pulling off a 3-1 victory over Gen. G and took both the second seed and second playoff ticket.

Another Philippine team in Rough World Era, however, failed to clinch a spot for the next round after going winless in Group D action, falling to Nongshim RedForce and Bigetron Sigma.

Blacklist International will take on Myanmar's Impunity on February 26 at 6 p.m. at the SM City North EDSA while Elevate will square off with South Korea's Nongshim RedForce at 2 p.m. on February 27. Both series feature best-of-seven formats.

Malaysia is the reigning champion in the Invitationals after LGD Gaming ruled Season 2 back in July 2024 with a 3-2 victory against compatriot Team Secret.
