Juliana Gomez part of PH fencing team for SEA Games

Juliana Gomez is part of the Philippine fencing team's delegation for the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in December. 

In a post last June 6, her father Richard Gomez, a fencer himself and Leyte's 4th district representative, congratulated Juliana on qualifying for the national team.

"Today was a very happy day," Richard wrote on the caption of his post. "Three of our athletes from Ormoc City qualified for the Women’s Epee National Team and will be seeing action at the coming Thailand Southeast Asian Games in December. Let’s go team! Alexa, Juliana and Ivy."

Juliana, meanwhile, shared on June 15 her reflection on the qualification.

"What a journey this qualifying season has been. Grateful to be rooted in the support of my coaches, friends, and family. All in God’s perfect time. I’m ready for what’s ahead!"
